Pay it forward when someone's kind
Or helps you out of a difficult bind.
Don't keep on taking without any give
That's simply not a cool way to live.
Show that you care and are thankful for;
Blessings you've got and you'll get even more.
So please say thank you and can I help
Let me carry those; in a most chirpy yelp!
Support good causes and the work they do
For people need them; just like they need you.
Smile at strangers while trying to understand
Some folks get uneasy asking for a helping hand.
So don't wait to be asked; go out of your way
To offer your help in a kind and loving way.
Look not for praise or glory for your actions and deeds
Ask instead that they be paid forward as spiritual seeds.
For the more of these we spread, tend and help sow
The quicker love and happiness will multiply and grow.
So though giving isn't always easy; try to make a start
By thinking more of others with a loving; open; heart.
