He who has the Lord in his heart,
shall have the protection of the almighty
For the Lord shall be his fortress and his refuge,
and in times of great need in God he can trust.
He shall deliver us from our enemies;
from illness and the perils of pestilence.
He shall send his angels for protection
so that no harm shall befall you.
His truth shall be your shield and armour
So you have nothing to fear
A thousand may fall dead beside you
ten thousand all around you,
but you shall not be harmed.
No evil shall befall you,
Nor any harm come to your home
For the lord has surrounded you with angels
that are there to protect you in times of need
To lift you up in times of trouble and hardship
and to comfort you in times of pain
He will always be with you in times of trouble
to deliver you from evil and hardship
He will honour you with long life
and with the blessings of his salvation
