Worry
There are two days in every week that we should never worry about if at all possible.  Two sacred days that should always be kept free from fear and apprehension at all costs.

The first of these days is called yesterday with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.

For you see, yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.  All the money in the world cannot bring it back.

We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word we said.  Yesterday is gone forever.
So let it go into the ether where it rightly belongs.

The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow with all its possible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and its poor performance.  You seem tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.

Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise whether we want it to or not.

Until it does though, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet to be born.

This leaves only one day, TODAY.
Any person can fight the battle of just one day.

The trick is having the good sense not to burden yourself today with the added burdens of yesterday and tomorrow

The weight of these two days only serves to slow us down and makes heavy our load when it might so easily be light

It is not the experience of today that drives a person mad, it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened yesterday - or the dread of what tomorrow might bring that often causes us to stumble.

Let us try, therefore, to live but one day at a time for that's more than enough to be getting on with is it not?
