Thank you for calling out to us in your time of need.  It is always a delight for us to be of some earthly assistance to you when you start to feel a little overwhelmed.  Know now though that you are never truly alone for we are always looking over you as you make your way through this journey called life.

My name is Zadkiel and I am the angel of prayer.  I have come to offer you comfort in your time of great hurt so that you know that your cries have not gone unheard.  Pain and grief are always heavy crosses to carry, that is why we offer you solace now for the sense of grief you are holding onto deep within. 

Alas, part of loving is hurting as this in turn aids to a better understanding of what the human heart is truly capable of feeling.  But your pain shall heal, your hurts diminish and laugher shall once again resound around you.

Nothing, especially grief and sorrow can last forever.  They too must return to the ether from whence they came.  Again, know that people who pass before us never wanted to cause us grief.  It is we alone that do that to ourselves.  They rejoice in the time we spent together safe in the knowledge that it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all.  As such, they would like for us to remember the good times we shared and think not of what we are now missing, but what we once had. 

That's right, rejoice in their lives, not their deaths for the reality is that their journey continues on another plain.  Out of sight, but very much at peace with the world and their place in it.  You shall meet again and when you do, it will be to tears of joy and not the sadness you currently feel.

As for a heart torn in two by the capacity to love so much that it hurts, take comfort in the knowledge that what is now split, will once again be whole and complete.  Nothing that happens in your life is ever without reason.  Grief and sorrow all have a part to play in the nourishment of our soul. 

Just as the earth can not live by sun alone, neither can your soul survive without the taste of tears of sorrow.  But in the grand scheme of things these are far fewer than the smiles of joy and happiness that are freely given to you throughout your lifetime.

In times of darkness then, stay strong and know that these are merely clouds passing over you making way for the sun to follow suit and that the soul, once nourished, is capable of loving deeper, stronger and more resolutely than ever before.
